As the clean up and restoration continues, some shops in the downtown area are attempting to get back to business. We happily donated cases of juice to the St. Vrain Market and Deli to help them replace stock they lost in the flood.
On Saturday, November 16, we were invited to their Grand Reopening Celebration. We sampled juice and talked with residents and volunteers about the rebuilding efforts.
The customers and employees are big fans of Cheribundi!

Other vendors included Oskar Blues Brewery serving root beer floats, Rocky Mountain Way Agave sweetened ice cream, and Saag Deli Meats.
In addition, a local shirt vendor made special batik t-shirts just for Lyons with the phrase "Lyons Strong," which as become a rallying cry for the rebuild efforts.
